A 107-room Fairfield Inn and Suites is slated to open by spring in the Harmony Commons development in southeast Fort Collins.

Spirit Hospitality LLC announced on Tuesday that construction would begin this fall on the hotel in Brinkman Partners’ 9.2-acre mixed-use development on the southwest corner of Harmony Road and Lady Moon Drive. Wabco Construction, a division of Spirit, will build the hotel, and Spirit will operate it.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites will be the first property under the Marriott flag in Spirit Hospitality’s portfolio.
