Now that central portion of The Foundry project in downtown Loveland is nearing completion, retail and restaurant businesses are lining up for an opportunity to lease the commercial spaces, according to the developer.
Jay Hardy, president of Brinkman, which is redeveloping the two and a half blocks south of Fourth Street, said commercial leasing of the ground-floor space in the two Patina Flats multi-use buildings started off more slowly than he expected.
“The vision has gone from vision to reality,” he said of the central plaza bounded on the east and west by the Patina Flats buildings, on the south by the parking garage and on the north by Third Street and the future movie theater.
