Anyone who has caught a glimpse of the side of The Foundry parking garage over the last couple of days likely couldn’t help but notice something different about the building.
That new look is the result of blue specks that have suddenly appeared on the east side of the structure, which led one passing construction worker to muse that “there must have been a confetti explosion.”
It turns out, however, that the specks are not the result of an overly explosive celebration but rather small pieces of tape applied to the wall as artists Daas and Zulu Painter begin work on the mural that ultimately will cover the two visible sides of the structure.
