Tara Meehan serves as the VP of Investments at Brinkman Real Estate, where she is responsible for sourcing and closing new investment opportunities, in addition to overseeing asset management for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate properties across Nevada, Utah, and Southern Idaho. With over 20 years of experience in multifamily and commercial real estate, Tara brings a wealth of expertise in acquisitions, asset management, value-add renovation, and strategic investment sourcing. Her deep understanding of market trends, operational strategies, and investment performance allows her to identify and close new investment opportunities in key markets.
Throughout her career, Tara has successfully managed large portfolios, led cross-functional teams, and developed and executed comprehensive investment strategies. She has a proven track record of overseeing complex renovation programs, refining pricing models, and ensuring the achievement of owner objectives. Tara is skilled in building and maintaining relationships with investors, joint venture partners, and third-party clients, and she excels at creating tailored business and marketing plans that drive results.
Tara’s experience also spans real estate analysis and portfolio management, where she has been responsible for financial feasibility studies, strategic planning, compliance monitoring, and performance analysis. She has managed diverse asset types, including multifamily and mixed-use properties, and has experience with tax credit housing units and capital improvement projects.
Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Albany and further enhanced her leadership skills by attending the NMHC Executive Leadership Conference at UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
