These key leadership advancements reflect Brinkman’s investment in top talent as it scales its commercial real estate platform and impact.
Dan Metzger Promoted to President
Brinkman Real Estate has promoted Dan Metzger from Chief Operating Officer to President. In this expanded role, Metzger will lead both asset management and acquisitions, while continuing to drive equity raises and nurture investor relationships.
Since joining Brinkman Real Estate as COO and Partner three years ago, Metzger has been a cornerstone of the company’s strategic growth. With more than 25 years of experience across capital markets, development, acquisitions, investor relations, and asset management, he brings deep industry insight and proven leadership to the president role.
“Dan has been instrumental in shaping our investment strategy and operational framework,” said Kevin Brinkman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “His expertise and vision will further propel our company’s growth and strengthen our position as a leader in commercial real estate investment.”
Metzger previously held leadership positions at a variety of commercial real estate organizations, including development firms, a mortgage banking firm, a REIT, and a private equity firm. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Stephanie Ashley Elevated to Senior Vice President of Operations
Stephanie Ashley has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations at Brinkman Real Estate, recognizing her leadership in both marketing and internal operations.
With nearly two decades of experience in integrated marketing, communications, and public relations, Ashley leads company-wide initiatives including branding, communication planning, content development, and public relations. She is also the creative force behind Brinkman’s multifamily investing podcast.
In her expanded role, Ashley oversees a wide range of internal functions including human resources, IT, employee benefits, and company culture. Her work ensures alignment between day-to-day operations and the company’s strategic vision, while fostering an environment where employees can thrive.
Ashley also plays a pivotal role in supporting the marketing and internal operations of Brinkman’s community impact arm, OneCanopy, helping advance its mission through strategic communications. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from James Madison University and a master’s in journalism and technical communication from Colorado State University.
Investment Team Promotions Signal Commitment to Growth Across the Region
In addition to executive leadership promotions, Brinkman Real Estate is proud to recognize four key individuals within its investment team for their outstanding contributions and leadership. These promotions further strengthen the firm’s ability to source, manage, and optimize investments across the Intermountain West.
Tara Meehan – Vice President of Investments
With over 20 years of experience in multifamily and commercial real estate, Tara Meehan brings a wealth of expertise in acquisitions, asset management, value-add renovation, and strategic sourcing. She will oversee acquisitions and assets in Nevada, Utah, and Southern Idaho. Meehan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Albany.
Larry Braud – Vice President of Investments
Larry Braud brings deep experience in residential and commercial real estate, with a strong background in underwriting, capital planning, construction oversight, and joint venture partnerships. He will manage acquisitions and assets in Montana, Northern Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Braud holds an MBA from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
Ryan Eisenbraun – Vice President of Investments
Ryan Eisenbraun, with over two decades in investment, development, and management, brings legal and financial expertise to the team. His experience includes acquisitions, debt placement, financial reporting, and legal analysis. He will lead acquisitions and asset management in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming. Eisenbraun holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law and is a Certified Property Manager® (CPM®).
Connor Jones – Acquisitions Manager
As Acquisitions Manager, Connor Jones will spearhead underwriting, financial modeling, and relationship-building with brokers and sellers. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Real Estate & Finance) from the University of Colorado Boulder.
